Steel EE AI

SteelEE.ai is an AI-powered electrical engineering assistant purpose-built for steel manufacturing facilities. It simulates a 30+ year veteran plant EE as a chat interface, giving engineers, technicians, and plant managers on-demand expert guidance without needing to track someone down or wait for a consultant.

What it does:

• Streaming chat with a deeply specialized AI trained on steel manufacturing electrical systems — EAF, rolling mill drives, motor protection, MCC/switchgear, PLC/DCS/SCADA, power quality, grounding, arc flash, and IEC/IEEE/NFPA standards
• Document upload — engineers can attach PDF spec sheets, wiring diagrams, or photos of equipment nameplates. PDFs are parsed for text; images and diagrams are analyzed by AI vision in full technical detail. All uploaded content becomes part of the AI's context for that conversation, so you can ask "what's the FLA on this motor?" after uploading a nameplate photo
• Persistent conversation history — all chats and documents are stored in PostgreSQL and survive page reloads
• Auto-titling — the AI automatically names each conversation based on the first question asked

• OpenAI gpt-5.2 (no user API key required — runs via Replit's AI integration)
